Indecent exposure: A resident of Berry Court reported her 12-year-old female neighbor was outside when a male in a Honda stopped and asked her for directions to a gas station. He exposed himself to her. The report was taken on June 22 at 12:55 p.m.
• A resident of La Crosse Drive reported a teenage couple, approximately 18 years old, was having sex in the neighborhood pool. The report was taken at 1:48 p.m. on June 22.
Stolen vehicle: Sir Speedy reported a Toyota pickup was stolen from the business. Entry was apparently made through the rear window. An unknown amount of cash was also stolen. The report was taken on June 23 at 5:40 a.m.
Suspicious circumstances: A Morgan Hill resident reported that on June 20 at approximately 11:30 a.m. she was pulled over by an unmarked vehicle for not using her turn signal. She told police the female officer refused to show her badge and was irate and “out of control.” The resident gave police a description and told them the officer shoved her and pushed her. The report was taken on June 23 at 8:57 a.m.
Child abuse: A former Morgan Hill resident reported that when she and her children were living in Morgan Hill five years ago, her 13-year-old son molested her 12-year-old daughter. She told police she just found out about this and would like to file a report. The report was taken on June 25 at 1:46 a.m.
Tampering with a vehicle: An employee of Mervyn’s reported the registration tag was stolen from her vehicle while it was parked at the store. The report was taken on June 15 at 1:50 p.m.
• A Morgan Hill resident reported the rear license plate was stolen from the resident’s vehicle. The report was taken at 3:39 p.m. on June 17.
• A resident of the Creekside Village Townhomes reported the rear license plate was stolen from her Jeep Cherokee.
Petty theft: A resident of the 14900 block of Citation Court reported a motor scooter stolen. The report was taken at 2:04 p.m. on June 17.
• A resident of Mira Bella Circle reported her purse was stolen at the Aquatic Center. In the purse was a cell phone, clothing and a $100 pool card. The report was taken on June 19 at 4:38 p.m.
• A Morgan Hill resident reported the resident’s cell phone was stolen two days earlier while the resident was at the Aquatics Center. The report was taken at 3:57 p.m. on June 21.
• A resident of the 17200 block of Calle Mazatan reported a 40-pound bag of dog food and a case of Gatorade were stolen from the resident’s driveway. The report was taken at 10:31 a.m. on June 24.
Identity theft: A resident of Encino Drive reported someone used her debit card, impersonating her husband. The report was taken on June 17 at 2:47 p.m.
Loud party: Police cited Jacob Atlas, 21, of 1205 Castle Lake Circle, on July 10 for allegedly allowing an out-of-control party at his residence. Police went to the home three times following complaints from neighbors about loud noise.
On the third time, police said many of the 200 party-goers were engaged in “mutual combat.” Besides the fights, officers found several minors drinking alcohol and called for assistance from California Highway Patrol and Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Department. Parents of minors were called to take their youngsters home.
Fraud: A Morgan Hill resident reported someone was cashing checks from her bank account. She suspects it was her son. The report was taken on June 15 at 2:22 p.m.
• A resident of Holiday Drive reported someone has used his credit card number to make charges on the Internet. The suspect(s) reportedly charged an LCD display screen for a vehicle. The report was taken at 8:15 p.m. on June 15.
• Commonwealth Central Credit reported a suspect made fraudulent deposits at an ATM, one for $400 on May 24 and one for $500 on May 27, and the suspect was able to withdraw cash based on these deposits. The report was taken on June 17 at 4:35 p.m.
Battery: A Morgan Hill resident reported that his wife bit him on the hand. The report was taken on June 15 at 11:52 p.m.
• Ya Bon Expresso reported that a customer who was banned from the store because he was loud and abusive to the employees was in the store again and pushed one of the employees. The report was taken at 4:48 p.m. on June 19.
• A Morgan Hill resident reported a known suspect punched his son in the face. He told police his son has a bloody nose and possible broken teeth. He told police the suspect may have an injury to his head from a baseball bat. The report was taken on June 25 at 6:37 a.m.
Vandalism: A resident of Berry Court reported someone threw a “boulder” though her front window overnight. The report was taken on June 16 at 6:13 p.m.
• A resident of Spring Hill Drive reported someone broke the back window of his Suburban, apparently with a bat. The report was taken at 9:36 a.m. on June 19.
• A resident of Burnett Avenue reported the resident’s Ford pickup was “graffiti’d” overnight. The report was taken at 7:44 a.m. on June 21.
• A resident of the Murphy Ranch Apartment Homes reported she left the windows of her vehicle down overnight, and someone sprayed ketchup inside the vehicle. She told police someone also urinated on her front doorstep. The report was taken on June 23 at 8:15 a.m.
• A resident of the 16700 block of Willow Creek Drive reported someone ripped the rear view mirror off her Dodge Intrepid overnight. The report was taken at 7:18 a.m. on June 25.
Burglary: Cidco Communications reported a window of the business was shattered, and someone obviously entered the business. Telephones were stolen. The report was taken on June 18 at 7:39 a.m.
• A Morgan Hill resident reported someone broke into her son’s locker at the Aquatic Center and stole a cell phone and a wallet containing $150. The report was taken at 6:08 p.m. on June 20.
Auto burglary: A resident of Creekside Village Townhomes reported someone entered her unlocked Chevy Tahoe and stole several items. The report was taken on June 18 at 10:57 a.m.
• L&M Windows reported a vehicle belonging to one of its employees was broken into while parked at the business. The Ford Thunderbird’s windows were partially down, and there was no sign of forced entry. A stereo and a tool box were stolen from the Ford. The report was taken at noon on June 18.
• An Acura that was parked at the Johnson Lumber Ace Hardward over the weekend was broken into, probably through a window that was left partially open. A watch, CDs, and the vehicle registration were stolen. The report was taken on June 21 at 2:50 p.m.
• A resident of the 16900 block of Oak Leaf Drive reported a generator valued at approximately $500 was stolen from the resident’s truck overnight. The report was taken at 6:53 a.m. on June 23.
• A Morgan Hill resident reported her purse was stolen from her unlocked vehicle while it was parked at the Aquatics Center. The purse contained a cell phone, PDA, wallet, checkbook and cash. The report was taken at 8:18 p.m. on June 23.
• A Morgan Hill resident reported her Chrylser was broken into while it was parked at the 24 Hour Fitness Club. A window was shattered, and her house keys were stolen from the vehicle. The report was taken on June 23 at 8:55 p.m.
• A resident of the 100 block of Berkshire Drive reported someone broke into her Honda Accord overnight. The driver’s side window was cracked. She told police she heard her car alarm go off at 3 a.m. and when she got to the door she heard a vehicle drive off. An expensive purse and a checkbook were stolen from the vehicle. The report was taken at 8:46 a.m. on June 25.
Threats: An employee of Community Lending reported she is receiving harassing phone calls, sexual in nature, at work. She does not recognize the voice. The report was taken on June 22 at 9:42 a.m.
• A Morgan Hill resident told police her ex-husband told her stepson, “I am not afraid to kill anyone in our family.” The resident does not know if her ex-husband owns any weapons. The report was taken at 2:16 p.m. on June 22.
• The owner of a Morgan Hill business reported he has received several threatening voicemails from the sister of an ex-employee. The ex-employee committed suicide seven years ago, and the sister holds him responsible. The report was taken on June 25 at 10:56 a.m.
