Season passes will be sold for the first summer swimming season at the Morgan Hill Aquatics Center April 1. The summer swimming season will run from June 12 until Sept. 6. The Morgan Hill Aquatics Center is set to open with an official grand opening June 12-13.
”Our new aquatics facility is on the way,” says Aaron Himelson, aquatics supervisor. The facility features 8,000 square-feet of recreation pools that include a slide pool, recreation pool, instructional pool and play/spray ground. In addition, the Morgan Hill Aquatics Center will feature a 50-meter competition pool with one-meter and three- meter diving boards.
There are a variety of season passes to choose from. The “Cool Ten Visit Pass” allows youth, teens and adults to visit the Morgan Hill Aquatic Center during recreational swimming hours 10 times with a cost of $40 for Morgan Hill residents while non residents are charged $48.
The “Really Cool Individual Season Pass” allows unlimited entry during summer season for pass holders during recreational swimming hours. Youth, teen and adult Morgan Hill residents can purchase this pass for $100 and non-residents, $125.
The “Extra Cool Family Season Pass” provides unlimited entry during the summer season for a family of five during recreational swimming hours. For Morgan Hill residents, $199, allows two adults and three children from the same household unlimited access all summer season during recreational swimming hours. For each additional child, there is a $15 charge. Non-residents pay $249. Fees are good until May 31. After May 31, Morgan Hill residents pay $249 while non-residents pay $299.
If you or your family desire to drop in and swim for the day during recreational swimming hours, daily admission is as follows: Morgan Hill youth, teen and adults can swim for $5; infants and toddlers under two are free when accompanied by a paying adult; children and seniors swim for $3. For non-residents, the fee is $6 and $4 respectively.
You can purchase your season pass by phoning 782-0008 April 1, or visit the Morgan Hill Community and Cultural Center at the corner of Monterey Road and Dunne Avenue. Credit cards will be accepted for the season passes.
