Vandalism: A resident of the Creekside Village Townhomes reported nails were put in the tires of her vehicle. She told police she suspects her ex-husband but cannot prove it. The report was taken on May 19 at 2:15 p.m.

• A business on Mast Street reported the back of the building and storage units were sprayed with graffiti over the weekend. The report was taken at 9:07 a.m. on May 27.

• A resident of Las Casas de San Pedro reported her Chrysler Sebring was “keyed” overnight. The report was taken on May 29 at 12:21 p.m.

• A resident of the 17600 block of DeWitt Avenue reported someone damaged two of his vehicle’s tires overnight, possibly with an ice pick or knife. The report was taken at 9:13 a.m. on June 2.

Auto burglary: A resident of the 16800 block of Barnell Avenue reported the resident’s Honda Civic was broken into. The steering wheel was damaged, and it was unknown at the time of the report if items were stolen. The report was taken on May 20 at 6:58 a.m.

• A resident of the Monte Vista Apartments reported the resident’s locked Ford Ranger was broken into overnight. A cell phone, two-way radio and a backpack were stolen. The resident told police he is a firefighter and some of his equipment was also stolen. The report was taken at 11:51 a.m. on May 20.

• A resident of the 16700 block of Barnell Avenue reported the resident’s Oldsmobile was broken into. A window was shattered, and the stereo was stolen. The report was taken on May 24 at 6:42 a.m.

• Another resident of the 16700 block of Barnell Avenue reported the resident’s GMC pickup was broken into. The back window was shattered, but it was unknown at the time of the report if items were stolen from the vehicle. The report was taken at 8:16 a.m. on May 24.

• A resident of the 15900 block of Piazza Way reported someone broke the passenger window of his Toyota Tacoma overnight and attempted to steal the stereo. The report was taken on May 27 at 9:35 a.m.

• A Dodge Stratus parked in the East Dunne Avenue/San Benancio area was vandalized. The driver returned to find a window shattered. When he returned home, he called police back and reported the stereo system was stolen. The reports were taken on May 29 at 3:13 a.m. and 3:59 a.m.

• A resident of Fox Hollow Circle reported the resident’s Toyota Tundra was broken into. A window was shattered, but it was unclear what items were stolen. The report was taken at 9:32 p.m. on May 30.

Battery: A resident of the Hill Haven Mobile Home Park reported her boyfriend punched her in the face. The boyfriend could be heard in the background by dispatchers, trying to get her to hang up. The report was taken on May 31 at 8:04 p.m.

Robbery: A Morgan Hill resident reported that while attending the Mushroom Mardi Gras he was robbed of his wallet and cell phone by a man with a handgun. The report was taken on May 29 at 7:24 p.m.

Fraud: Wells Fargo Bank reported an elderly male customer was the victim of fraud. He told employees that he was corresponding with people in Nigeria, and he presented a couple of $50 bills that were black; he said he was told to put a chemical on them in order to make them look like real bills. The report was taken on May 20 at 2:39 p.m.

• A resident of the Hacienda Mobile Home Estates reported someone used her Ebay account to charge $1 million. She has not lost any money, she told police, and Ebay will correct her account. The report was taken at 3 p.m. on May 20.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported her debit card was used on the Internet. The report was taken on May 28 at 3:22 p.m.

• A resident of Oak View Circle reported her credit card was used on the Internet. The report was taken at 5:51 p.m. on May 29.

• A San Jose resident who used to live in Morgan Hill reported the resident’s ex-roommate had the resident’s mail forwarded to his Morgan Hill address and cashed the resident’s unemployement checks. The report was taken on June 1 at 2:-03 p.m.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported her credit card was stolen on May 26, and she may know the suspect. The card has been used in Morgan Hill and Gilroy. The report was taken at 5:25 p.m. on June 1.

Petty theft: Target reported a male suspect stole two cell phones from the store. The report was taken at 9:01 p.m. on May 10.

• American Mat and Frame Company reported a UPS scale was stolen from the business. The report was taken on May 11 at 4:11 p.m.

• Styles Hair Salon reported two customers came in for highlights, color and haircuts, a total of $137, and they left without paying for the service. The report was taken at 9:55 p.m. on May 14.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported six solar landscape lights were stolen from the resident’s front yard overnight. The report was taken on May 16 at 10:41 a.m.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported that while his car was being washed at the Morgan Hill Car Wash, someone took his Nextel cell phone. The report was taken on May 17 at 11:50 a.m.

• A resident of the Woodland Estates Mobile Home Park reported someone stole the doghouse from the backyard. The report was taken at 3:57 p.m. on May 17.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported her Verizon cell phone was stolen three weeks earlier while she was at the Cinelux theaters. The report was taken on May 20 at 4:11 p.m.

• The Morgan Hill Center reported a male suspect stole two 18-packs of beer. The report was taken at 8:06 p.m. on May 20.
