She is survived by her husband David Wood of Gilroy; father Melvin and his wife Lois Lopes of Sparks, Nev.; and brother Stephen Lopes of San Jose.

Julie was preceded in death by her mother Viola Lopes.

A memorial service take place at 10 a.m. Monday, June 28, at Habing Family Funeral Home of Gilroy.
