The liberal Democrat politicians have been spreading propaganda and lies against President Bush, for a good year, more or less, on the economy and the war in Iraq. With Bush’s tax cuts, the economy is picking up.
However, their criticism of the war in Iraq is giving aid and comfort to the terrorists. Right now, the Democrats are holding hearings to find out if President Bush had anything to do with the so-called “torture of prisoners in Iraq.” They quote the Geneva Convention on prisoners of war.
When President Bush sent in troops to Iraq for the terrorists attack against the United States on 9-11, the Iraqi soldiers would come under the Geneva Convention. However, when U.S. troops took over Baghdad and Iraqi soldiers dispersed, they lost their rights as prisoners of war. Since then, terrorists have attacked U.S. troops.
When terrorists are taken in as prisoners, they are treated as criminals. To save American lives, a certain amount of interrogation is needed. It is apparent that Democrats are concerned more about the welfare of the terrorist prisoners than for the welfare of our American soldiers fighting a war in Iraq to keep Americans safe here at home. God Bless the United States of America and our troops.
