The Morgan Hill Teachers Aid Coalition is an organization dedicated to gathering school supplies for our classroom teachers. With local, state and federal aid to our classrooms rapidly disappearing, we feel this is an important time to show support and appreciation of our teachers.
This year, TAC is headed by President Raymond Jimenez, Co-Vice Presidents Roger Beaulieu and Janet Specht, and Secretary/Treasurer Kiki Nakauchi.
Our fall school supply distribution was a great success thanks to the hard work and planning of Anna Friebel, Irma Torrez and Bob Davis. We wish to welcome aboard David Ordaz.
We are in the process of our first dining fundraiser of this school term at Mama Mia’s Restaurant Italiano located on Dunne Avenue. We would like to thank, restaurateur, Majid Bahreny for his generosity in donating a portion of his Morgan Hill restaurant’s Feb. 2 and the upcoming Feb. 9’s dining receipts to Teachers Aid Coalition.
TAC would like to thank the public for their support. Show our teachers we appreciate their efforts during these difficult times by dining out at Morgan Hill’s Mama Mia’s Restaurant this coming Monday, Feb. 9. Let your waiter know that you support Teachers Aid to insure the donation.
Classroom supply donations are welcomed year-round. They may be delivered to Princial Bob Davis at Burnett Elementary, 85 Tilden Ave. during regular school hours or at my office at 370 W. Dunne Ave.,Ste. #3 in Morgan Hill. More information about helping TAC can be gotten by calling Bob Davis at 779-5241 or myself at 779-7391.
