Raquel Elisse Quinonez became an Angel in Heaven on September 5, 2015 in Gilroy, CA.
She was born November 7, 1997, in San Jose, CA to her loving and devoted parents, Julian and Angelina Quinonez, and her two older brothers, Julian and Jeffrey Quinonez, who loved her the minute they met her.
Raquel graduated in 2015 “like a Boss” from Gilroy High School. As a highly successful student, she had received a university scholarship and had been accepted to various universities. She was planning to study to be a veterinarian and continue her “pursuit of world domination.”
Aside from driving her family crazy, Raquel, “the fearless one,” tried and loved everything under the sun, from riding skateboards, eating exotic foods, playing with fire (inside family joke), drumming, playing basketball, swimming for her high school team, to moshing at rock concerts. She mainly enjoyed raising and nurturing animals while in Future Farmers of America.
Raquel had the sweetest soul, a loving and giving heart, and she never met an earlobe she didn’t like!
It was so easy to fall in love with this genuine sweetheart, Raquel, an Angel on Earth who made you feel privileged just to be around. She was an Angel we were blessed to have and forever call our own.
Raquel was deeply loved by her grandparents, Carlos and Arminda Quinonez, Jose Blanco and Rosa Linda Corona.
She is survived by her paternal aunts and uncles: Elias, Carlos, and Corrina. Raquel is also survive by her maternal aunts and uncles: Doroteo and Sandra, Amelia and Faustino, Maris and Omar, Jose and Dora, Lupe and Emmanuel, Yesenia and Oliver, John and Irene, James, Angela and her treasured Uncle Michael and Aunt Sandra.
She will be forever missed by her countless, beautiful cousins and friends, who will continue to keep our “Kelly Belly’s” memory alive and who will love her to no end.
