 As a Morgan Hill resident over the past decade, Larry was a well known figurehead in the Morgan Hill and Gilroy restaurant scene. Larry and wife, Ruth, enjoyed dining at restaurants in the area every weekday. 
 Larry was born in San Francisco, CA and was a Bay Area resident for most of his life. He attended grammar school in San Francisco, and high school at Bellarmine College Preparatory in San Jose and Washington High School in San Francisco. 
 He proudly served in the United States Navy during the Korean War and was fortunate enough to spend most of that time stationed in Hawaii.
  He was the loving husband of Ruth Haaser Anderson, a resident of Morgan Hill. 
 He is survived by his sons, Lawrence III (Cheryl), David (Carolyn), grandchildren, Matthew, Katherine, Joseph and Lawrence IV. His is also survived by his step-son, Barry Haaser (Paula), and their children, Mitchell and Alexandra, and granddaughter, Hannah.   
 He was predeceased by his first wife, Shirley, and step-son, Brian.
