Cinkova was recently chosen to play on the Main Beach Volleyball Club, a top 16-and-under club team based in Aptos. The team will be traveling all over the state to compete against other top club teams and its goal is to qualify for the Junior Olympics. The talented middle blocker has been playing volleyball since the seventh grade, and helped her 14-and-under club team qualify for the Junior Olympics last year. Last fall, she made the Live Oak High varsity girls volleyball team and helped the team qualify for the section playoffs for the ninth straight year last fall. She also maintains a 4.0 gpa.
For information on how to contribute, call Main Beach Volleyball Club director Jan Furman at (831) 345-1441. The club is a non-profit organization.
