SEMIPRO FOOTBALL: Barnstormers survive clash of league’s top teams

The Barnstormers will visit the first-place Salinas Spartans
(3-1) Saturday for their Week 5 matchup
– the NCFL’s Game of the Week. Kick-off is 6 p.m.
SACRAMENTO — The Central Coast Barnstormers lost 35-21 to the River City Gators (3-0) on Saturday night in Sacremento, and fall to 2-2 overall in the Northern California Football League.

Within the South Division of the National Conference, Central Coast sits in second place, but will have the chance to sit tied for first this weekend.

The Barnstormers will visit the first-place Salinas Spartans (3-1) Saturday for their Week 5 matchup — the NCFL’s Game of the Week. Kick-off is 6 p.m.
