Harold Edwin Parker died peacefully in his sleep at home on October 22nd, 2010. He will be missed by his family and friends.

Harold was born in Fulton, NY on August 3rd,1935. He graduated from Oswego High School in 1954, and then went into the army. He was stationed in Germany and was honorably discharged in 1959 as a Specialist 4th class infantryman and clerk. He then attended The State University college of forestry at Syracuse University where he was a big fan of Orange running back Jim Brown. He received his B.A. in Pulp and Paper Technology in 1963.He moved quickly into upper management and moved to Hollister in 1974 to work at Nicolet as their Manufacturing Manager.

Then in 1975, Harold switched careers and became a well known real estate agent, working with many companies and brokers. He eventually had his own business and his honesty was well known throughout the industry.

Upon his retirement, Harold loved to travel and went on some exotic cruises through the Panama Canal, and all around Europe. he also loved to fish and was known to enjoy watching his favorite NFL Team The Buffalo Bills.

You could always find Harold with his friends at Spudnuts with a hot cup of coffee and a comment for anyone who came in. His wit and humor will be truly missed.

He was married to Norma Jean Parker who passed away from cancer in 1982. He is survived by his son, Michael George Parker, and daughter Heather E. Click, wife of John D. Click. He was the proud grandparent to Mason and Casey Click. He is also survived by his sister Charlene Galetta of Oswego, NY.

The family will have a memorial service at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church on Friday, November 5th, 2010, at 6:00 P.M. It will be followed by a reception at the St. Luke’s Hall located right next door. Anyone who wants to come is invited.
