Championships on Oct. 6-7 in Santa Cruz.
Morgan Hill – The Morgan Hill Gymnastics boys team, coached by Sam Quicke, had four gymnasts compete in the Future Stars Regional Championships on Oct. 6-7 in Santa Cruz.
Wesley Guild scored a 70.80 in the 11 year old competition while Caleb Weisenburger scored a 71.00 in the 10 year old competition.
Both Wesley and Caleb finished 6th in their divisions and qualified for the Future Stars National Championships Nov. 8-9 at the U.S. Gymnastics Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.
KyVon Hughes scored a 78.00 in the 9 year old competition finishing in fifth, while Dante Gallardo scored a 75.80 to finish ninth.
Hughes made the Future Stars National Development Team with his fifth place finish, and both Hughes and Gallardo qualified for the Regional Future Stars Development Camp Oct. 20-21 in Newbury Park, Calif.
