The Cubs scored 4 runs in the first inning on singles by Matt Jarvis and Andrew Bueno and walks to Kyle Kinsey, Adrian Garcia, Matt Cummings, and Sam Raney.
The D’backs scored in the 2nd on a double by Jim Hagan, who stole 3rd and then scored
The Cubs broke the game open in the bottom of the 3rd, scoring 5 runs on walks to Bueno, Kinsey, Garcia, Pasek, and Cummings, and RBI sacrifice grounders by Mike Jarvis and Sam Raney.
The Cubs then added 2 runs to their lead in the bottom of the 4th on walks to Jaryd Pollard and Matt Jarvis and then a 2-RBI triple into deep centerfield by Bueno
The D’backs scored their last run in the 5th inning on a walk and some speedy baserunning by Tercero, who stole 2nd, 3rd, and home.

Nice Plays: Francis Tuttle pitched well for the Braves. Nino Fortuna, Ethan Cox, and Steven Facio pitched well for the Reds. Alex McKerrow of the Reds made a very good catch on a fly ball to rightfield and threw to Ethan Cox at first base to get the double play.

Jasper Evans made a nice out at first base and hit a double and a RBI single. Gage Alspach, Rajay Ramon, Mathew Kastle and Michael Filice all keep the game exciting with singles.
