The Gavilan College women’s volleyball match tonight against Monterey Peninsula College will be webcast live online.
The announcement came via e-mail from head coach Kevin Kramer.
This is the first attempt by Gavilan to stream a live match to fans around the community.
Gavilan is 12-5 overall and 5-1 in Coast Conference South play this season. The Rams are currently the 25-ranked team in the state, according to the California Community College Coaches Association.
The matched is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. but the webcast will kick in approximately 30 minutes before first serve, the e-mail stated.
