Specialized Bicycle and Bay Area Women’s Cycling have announced their free women’s road cycling clinic to be held on Saturday and Sunday, March 6-7 at Specialized’s headquarters in Morgan Hill.

The clinic will offer three tracks involving skills drills and classroom instruction, including: one for would-be cyclists, cycling enthusiasts and endurance riders; one for those interested in bicycle maintenance, bicycle fitness, bicycle advocacy and yoga for cyclists; and one for competitive racers.

The clinic is limited to 200 participants.

The clinic’s list of instructors includes Nicole Freeman, a professional cyclist who is a two-time U.S. national champion, former member of the U.S. Olympic Road Team, and founder of the Basis Women’s Cycling Team.

In addition to the Specialized sponsorship, Trico Sports, Sports Basement and Victory Brewing Co. also sponsor the event.

To register for the clinic, call (408) 782-5566.
