Regarding the countywide task force to develop the 10-year plan to end chronic homelessness, I am very encouraged by the city of Gilroy’s Marilyn Roaf serving on countywide bodies to represent South Valley.
Also, one of the three homeless individuals should be from the South Valley. A homeless person from Palo Alto cannot adequately represent the challenges and needs of homeless people in this area. So, if you work with someone, or know someone, or are someone who is homeless and would be able to spend time on the task force providing valuable information, please contact me at 408-838-0862.
