Water water everywhere, but not a drop to drink – is fast becoming California’s if not the world’s biggest problem. We have every choice and alternative in California particularly, with an infinite supply of ocean water.
Desalinization is the only way to go, lawn to tap. The process takes takes 10 years to implement. Carmel is doing it. Meanwhile, San Diego City Council, at the end of the spiggot, has tried to pass recycled sewage water from toilet to tap but didn’t have the necessary votes. Now they think they do. They, with unlimited water standing in front of them.
Is this insanity or what? Morgan Hill, get a grip. Work a cooperative deal with a city by the Bay and get desalinization pipes going now.
