We didn’t hang offensive flag
Roxana Bliss’ recent letter to the editor alleges that it was the pro-Trump and pro-American Patriots that hung a Nazi flag on the Burnett overpass before waiting for law enforcement to determine who did it and why. It appears she is either rushing to judgment, is uninformed or is intentionally avoiding all the online commentary in the community that the person who hung a Nazi flag is a Democrat agitator, rather than the usual pro-Trump crowd that gathers on the Burnett bridge as they have never done anything like this before.
Trump supporters that I know love America and would never hang a Nazi flag nor approve the evil it represents. On March 27, there is a picture circulating at the overpass of four people with American flags holding up a sign that said “A Democrat hung a Nazi flag here.”
Roxana conveniently left out that this person hung a Russian flag alongside the Nazi flag in a picture circulated on social media along with comments that he is a known liberal and he said something to the effect that the reason he is doing this is because he thinks Trump is a Nazi. This shows that this was likely a Democrat agitator as many Democrats accuse Trump of being pro-Russia rather than trying to end a war.
I hope common sense people consider that the person who hung Nazi and Russian flags were not the usual Pro-Trump crowd and may be a Democrat who was trying to score political points against Republicans at the expense of further dividing and tearing apart our small community. This is similar to the radical, unhinged Democrats throughout the nation who are burning and drawing swastikas on Teslas in protest to Elon Musk, who is just trying to cut waste, fraud and corruption out of government.
Over the last few years, there have been a stream of letters to the editor unfairly attacking Trump supporters and Republicans as bigots and attempting to inflame racial and religious strife unnecessarily. The letters rightfully denounce hate, but scold us with righteous proclamations that are common sense for most people and almost childish in their statements of what is right and what is wrong.
A recent CNN poll said the Democrat party favorability rating is only 29% nationwide. Instead of coming up with better ideas to fix all the problems in CA caused by the Democrat supermajority in California like inflation, crime, homelessness and the shrinking middle class and vanishing American Dream, it seems some local unhinged, radical Democrats are doubling down on their strategy of demonizing Republicans.
I have faith that most people in Morgan Hill are inclusive of Republican political views and common sense people will wait until all the facts come out before rushing to judgment and assuming the worst against their neighbors.

Don’t blame the conservatives
Response to Nazi flag issue in Morgan Hill, on the Burnett Overpass:
Eat or be eaten, that is the way of nature and the “Far Left Extremist Socialist Democrats,” including Roxana Bliss and the alleged Nazi flag waving Democrat agitator who recently flew his obnoxious, disgusting and hateful flag over the Burnett Overpass in Morgan Hill.
It is common for Far Left Extremist Socialists to use tactics to confuse and falsely accuse conservatives when peddling their hoaxes against those on the “Right” side of the equation; frankly, you can’t trust anything that the Extreme Left and those in their alt-universe do—all they spout is lie after lie after lie.
In fact, what we conservatives are thoroughly enjoying watching today is seeing the alleged Left (like the Nazi Flag Waver and Roxana Bliss) continuing to dig their graves ever deeper—and when your opponents are digging their graves give them more shovels, not a ladder!!!

Editor’s note: The Times has previously reported that the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office and District Attorney’s Office are investigating the March 21 Nazi flag incident. As of press time, no update to the investigation has been provided by either office.
It’s interesting how quick on the trigger finger some are to accuse rather than stepping back and getting the facts of the matter before commenting. This issue with the Nazi flag reminds me of the Nicholas Sandmann incident in which initial reports stated that Sandman and the group he was with were taunting a native-American man. The subsequent reports of the incident caused outrage in the nation. It turns out that this accusation was completely untrue.
Similarly, it appears that the Trump supporters on the bridge had nothing to do with the Nazi flag or the individual who put it up. They were actually the ones who called the police for assistance.
If you’re unfamiliar with the Nicolas Sandman/native-American matter, here’s some information on that event for context: https://nypost.com/2019/01/21/longer-video-casts-new-light-on-native-american-taunting-controversy/
In the image of the MAGA supporters standing on the overpass, holding a sign that reads ‘We didn’t hang the Nazi flag,’ one of them can be seen making a hand gesture associated with white supremacy (Nazi symbolism) when you zoom in.
“Democrats are doomed because they have a 29% approval rating!” Cute. Now let’s talk about your guy.
Donald Trump just hit a 39% approval rating at the 100-day mark, according to ABC/WaPo/Ipsos—the lowest 100-day rating of any president in the last 80 years. For context: even Nixon, Carter, and Bush post-Katrina were doing better than this walking indictment.
His numbers plunged 8 points in just two months (47% → 39%). CNN/SSRS has him at 41%, and among young voters? He’s radioactive—59% of 18-29 year old men disapprove, with nearly half saying he’s actively hurting the economy.
So if you’re going to bring up the Democrats’ dismal 29%, maybe take a long, hard look at the self-declared messiah of your party who’s managed to unite the nation in disappointment. You’re not on a winning team—you’re watching two sides of the same crumbling empire rot from the top down.
Also, your party lost any and all semblance of common sense when your draconian laws forced a ten year old girl to go across state lines to get an abortion. Because her own state wouldn’t allow for it. If your Sundays aren’t spent BEGGING the universe for forgiveness, it absolutely should be.
