Union workers at Saint Louise Regional Hospital joined their
counterparts at three other area hospitals in backing the Service
Employees International Union
–United Healthcare Workers West and rejecting membership in the
National Union of Healthcare Workers, a group started by former
SEIU-UHW President Sal Rosselli.
Union workers at Saint Louise Regional Hospital joined their counterparts at three other area hospitals in backing the Service Employees International Union–United Healthcare Workers West and rejecting membership in the National Union of Healthcare Workers, a group started by former SEIU-UHW President Sal Rosselli.

“Finally, we can move on from this NUHW distraction and get back to taking care of patients and building a better future,” said Jaime Avelar, a food service assistant at Saint Louise Regional Hospital.

Saint Louise employees voted 96 to 72 in favor of SEIU-UHW.
