Police arrested two juveniles suspected of robbing a woman at the Gilroy Premium Outlets Sunday afternoon.
At 1:54 p.m., officers were dispatched to the outlets at 681 Leavesley Road for a report of a strong-armed robbery.
According to the victim, two juveniles approached her and grabbed her purse, Gilroy police said. The suspects then fled on Leavesley Road toward the U.S. Highway 101 overpass, according to the GPD.
After hearing a description of the suspects, an officer in the area of Leavesley Road and Murray Avenue spotted them. The suspects ran, jumping over fences at nearby businesses, police said.
Other officers arrived and the two were arrested without further incident. The woman’s purse was recovered.
