Sobrato and Live Oak enter finals games after losses
CAMPBELL — In its first of two season-ending road games, Live Oak lost 3-0 to Westmont in Campbell on Tuesday.
Emmet Fox, Rieco Moreno and Chris Pantelion scored for the Warriors, who moved to 6-6-7 overall and 6-3-4 in the BVAL Santa Teresa Division.
The Acorns (6-8-5 overall, 3-6-4 BVAL) are out to snap an eight-game winless streak today when they play their final game at Yerba Buena.
Mustangs edge Bulldogs
The Sobrato Bulldogs dropped a 2-1 decision to Pioneer in BVAL-Santa Teresa Division play Tuesday.
The host Mustangs (1-11-1 BVAL) got their first regular-season victory. They scored the game-winning goal in the second half after the match was tied 1-1 at halftime.
Sobrato (8-9-2 overall, 5-7-1 BVAL) got a goal by Cullen Herrington with an assist from Miles Mammen.
The Bulldogs will host their final game Wednesday against first-place Willow Glen.
