UNDER CONSTRUCTION Builders work on the second story June 29 of a townhome unit under construction at the Jasper project in north Morgan Hill.

Trumark Homes, a national developer of residential properties, recently acquired the property where the Jasper community has been proposed in Morgan Hill since 2019.

The 5.67-acre property is located on the east side of Monterey Road, near the intersection of Old Monterey. Construction is underway at the site, where Trumark plans to build 101 townhomes for sale.

Plans include “an on-campus mixed-use building offering three commercial units,” according to Trumark Homes’ website.

Prices for the townhomes will start in the mid-$800,000s range. Homes will consist of eight different three-story townhome floor plans, with units ranging in size from 1,403 to 2,270 square feet, three to four bedrooms and up to 3.5 bathrooms, according to Trumark Homes.

Trumark Homes recently purchased the site from City Ventures, which recently completed a new residential development across Monterey Road from the Jasper project. City planners approved Jasper’s design permits and vesting tentative map in 2020.

Trumark Homes’ Jasper site is under construction on the east side of Monterey Road, at the intersection of Old Monterey.
