If you’re feeling the need for more outdoors, the Above Ground Potato Planting is perfect for learning how to build a simple above-ground potato stack. With special guest John Jenkins, a horticulture professional, he will cover varieties that grow well locally, the simple procedure of planting the whole potato, and when to harvest at the Morgan Hill Community Garden on Butterfield Boulevard from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. Rosy’s at the Beach, located at 17320 Monterey Road, is hosting “A Feline Affair” a meal now and dine anytime between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. on Feb. 26 with all proceeds benefiting the purring furry friends under the program Air for Paws.
