Bonino was born 96 years ago in Homeboy, Bingham Canyon, Utah. He was a longtime rancher in the San Martin area, growing pru-nes, grapes, pears and walnuts. He was a member of the Sunsweet and CalCan co-ops. He also enjoyed deer hunting.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Helen Bonino of San Martin; children Donald and wife Lynne Bonino, Louie and wife Judy Bonino and Elaine Bonino, all of San Martin; grandchildren Donna and husband Daren Augustin of Stockton, Randy and wife Lori Bonino, Russell and wife Raquel and Brent Bonino, all of San Martin; great-grandchildren Anthony and Jeremy Bonino of San Martin, Cam-eron and Gavan Augu-stin of Stockton and Jennifer, Nicole and Thomas Bonino of San Martin.

He also is survived by his sister Jennie Costa of Coyote; nephew Roger Costa of San Jose; nieces Janet Hebert of San Jose and Anita Sciutto of Capitola; and sister-in-law Mamie Sgheiza of Gilroy.

A visitation will be 4-8pm Wednesday at the Habing Family Funeral Home with the family present from 6-7pm. Funeral services will be at 11am Thursday at the mortuary chapel. Entombment will follow at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park.

The family asks that any donations be made to a favorite charity.
