CMT, a non-profit program of Advent Lutheran Church, is designed to give children, grades K–9, a quality music theater experience in a “Christian atmosphere”. The children have fun, learn and grow while preparing and participating in an original full-length musical production, which includes the themes of honoring God-given talents in self and others and honoring God’s call to justice, peace, fairness and harmony.

The daily schedule includes acting, music, dance and art classes, with an emphasis on teamwork, skill building and fun. There will be three one-week sessions offered during the summer of 2003. Each week ends with every child performing in the full-length musical production.

Marc Northcott, the program and artistic director, has been teaching acting and directing children’s theater in Morgan Hill and Palo Alto for more than 20 years. Phil Robb is the musical director. An art director, professional choreographer, and high school and college age counselors will fill out the teaching staff.

The cost per session is $150 for the first child, $280 for two children from the same family, and $125 for each additional child from the same family. Registration Saturday, April 12, from 10 a.m.-noon at Advent Lutheran Church, 16870 Murphy Avenue.

Saturday’s registration will be first-come, first-served and is expected to sell out on that day. Bring completed registration forms and payment in full. Details and forms at www.advent-lutheran.org/, e-mail at jo****@*****rd.com, Jane at 776-3015.
