The Morgan Hill Raiders Cheerleaders had five competitive teams and their dance squad place at the Regional Championships, which were held at Santa Clara University on Nov. 24, and are advancing two of them to compete in the national championships.

The Morgan Hill Raiders small intermediate Midget cheer squad and the junior pee wee dance team both won in their respective categories and the Junior Pee Qee cheer squad took second place during the regional championships.

All three teams have been invited to compete at national championships in Orlando, Fla. during the week of Dec. 5.

The national championships bring Pop Qarner cheerleaders from all over the United States together compete.

There are approximately 2,000 programs in the United States and each region sends two squads from each age division.

The Raiders will represent the Pacific Northwest in their respective categories.

The Raiders small intermediate Pee Wee squad took third place and the small intermediate Junior Midget cheer squad took fourth place.
