Drop by for a glass of wine from noon to 5 p.m. April 18-19 at Aver Family Vineyards, located at 2900 Soma Way in Gilroy, and support three local charities in the process during the winery’s “Animal Charity Weekend.”
Morgan Hill nonprofits Air For Paws, the Wildlife Education and Rehabilitation Center and Perfect Fit Equine Rescue will receive $2 from each bottle of wine sold over the weekend.
On both days, there will be a special auction for a private wine tasting party hosted by John and Carolyn Aver benefiting each of the organizations. In addition, there will be other surprise auction items.
