Police responded to three burglaries in a 24-hour period this week, and are asking Morgan Hill residents to be on alert during the winter holidays.

Two of the residential burglaries happened in east Morgan Hill – one on Birch Way and one on Jasmine Way – on Tuesday, according to Morgan Hill police Detective Mindy Zen. The third incident happened in south Morgan Hill, on Denali Drive about midnight Wednesday.

“As we approach the holidays, people become more susceptible” to theft or burglary, Zen said. “We ask residents to be safe and secure their property.”

Anyone with information about the recent burglaries may contact Morgan Hill police at (408) 779-2101.
