It might not exactly have been the perfect preparation for the big showdown with Gilroy later on this week, but the Live Oak High boys soccer team very definitely didn’t look past its opponent this weekend.
Six Acorn players scored as LO crushed visiting Salinas 10-1 on Saturday. Earlier this season, LO beat Salinas 8-0, and led 7-1 at halftime on Saturday. Tallying goals for LO were Anthony Avalos (3), Garrett Frechette (2), Robert Adam (2), Anthony Razouk, Orlando Lucero and Daniel Carroll. LO (13-0-5 overall, 6-0-1 in league) takes on Palma on Tuesday before hosting Gilroy on Thursday.
