Morgan Hill’s haunted graveyard, “Terror on Lassen Way,” will return for the 17th year from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. this Halloween.
Creators Bob Johnston and Scott Janssen will once again convert Lassen Way in Morgan Hill into a “delightfully frightful display of high-tech spookery” and offer free admission to the public.
This year, “hundreds of brave souls are expected to visit the haunted graveyard and delight in the many spooky wonders,” according to a press release. The graveyard will feature special effects such as a lightening and thunder storm, creaking gates, wisecracking skulls, the “breathing ground” zombies trying to escape from their graves, clawing hands, tombstones that shift and shake, ghosts, gargoyles, bats, skeletons, candles, special lighting, sound effects and coffins with “disturbing surprises inside.”
To get to this spooky destination:
-Travel west on Watsonville Road from Monterey Road
-Turn left onto Venetian Way and stay to the right
-The entrance will be on the left.
Donations will be accepted for the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation.
