I am tardy in writing my appreciation for our own South Valley Symphony. What a treasure. Their last concert on April 5 was absolutely music to everyone’s ears.

Thank you to the orchestra members, conductor Henry Mollicone, Sonia Gariaeff, Mezzo Soprano (Gilroy’s own) who gave us such a wonderful performance. Thank you Al Navaroli and Board members. This I believe is all done on their own time.

The next performance, “Cinema Magic”, music from motion pictures, is being held at the Gavilan College Theater at 8 p.m. on May 31. There is still so much beauty left in this world, though it doesn’t seem like it at times. Support and attend the South Valley Symphony.
