Fresh greens grow at Morgan Hill Community Garden

Come out and see what’s growing in the garden.
Members of the Morgan Hill Community Garden welcome area residents to its Butterfield Avenue outdoor facility from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 18 in celebration of Soil Art Day.
Mayor Steve Tate will dedicate the City’s newest public art, titled “Soil Sample Morgan Hill,” by artist Helen Lessick at 11 a.m. followed by art activities for all ages, a home composting demonstration and a tour of the international garden plots.
In addition, a home composting demonstration is scheduled for noon and a discussion on urban gardening and community health with Dr. Lucy Diekman at 1 p.m.
