Brook Loesch was a single shy of hitting for the cycle, but Christopher High’s softball team suffered a 9-8 loss at Live Oak in the rain Thursday.

Loesch had two RBIs and scored three runs to go with her double, triple and home run for the Cougars, who fell to 4-2 overall.

Michaela Decker had four hits for Christopher. Karli Martinez doubled and knocked in two runs for the Cougars, and teammate Brittney Souza homered and scored twice.

Archbishop Mitty 7, Gilroy 0 – The visiting Mustangs fell to 3-1 overall.
