Softball: Rams fall at SJCC, 6-2

Giana Cavallero pitched a complete game, allowing no earned runs on two hits and one walk with five strikeouts to lead San Jose City College’s softball team to a 6-2 home win over Gavilan on Tuesday.

Kayla Medrano went 1-for-3 with a double, an RBI and scored a run for the Rams, who fell to 6-15 overall and 0-4 in the Coast Conference. Justine Armento had the other hit for Gavilan, and Olivia Barajas knocked in the other run.
