Born in Gilroy, Silverio moved with his family to Fresno during his early high school days. He graduated from C.L. McLane High School in Fresno. He returned to Gilroy in 1997 and last worked for New United Motor Manufacturing in Fremont since 2001. A native of Gilroy, he was 29.
He was the loving son of Silverio F. Perez of Gilroy and Isabel Gonzalez–Diaz of Gilroy; boyfriend of Elaine Gaeta of San Jose; brother of Veronica Perez and her husband Virgil Huston of Fresno, Daniel Perez of Fresno, Lorraine Perez and her husband Joseph La Rocca of Fresno and Diana Perez of Gilroy; grandson of Ignacio Macias of Porterville, Abel A. Castro of Gilroy and the late Pauline Gonzalez, Melida P. Castro and Eustacio G. Perez; uncle of Isaiah, Elijah, Reyna, Destiny, Larissa and Jolissa. He also is survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Burial was at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park under the direction of Habing Family Funeral Home.
