Drunk in Public
Luis Biondi of San Martin, Nov. 12 at 7:34 p.m. at the 1300 block of Monterey Avenue in San Martin. Biondi was found standing in the street heavily intoxicated, stumbling and slurring his speech. Biondi indicated that he was preparing to take a bus, but did not know where he was going. He was found in violation of his probation and booked into the main Santa Clara County jail.
Burglary
An unknown suspect, Nov. 12 near the 100 block of Oiger Avenue in Morgan Hill broke into a mobile home while the owner was at work. More than $100,000 in electronics, currency, jewelry and other property was taken from the residence. The suspect(s) are still at large.
Under the Influence
Rosalio Pineda, 21 of Gilroy, Nov. 11 at 4:12 p.m. at the intersection of Monterey and Las Animas avenues in Gilroy was stopped for a traffic violation. Pineda was hostile and showed influence of methamphetamine. A field sobriety test was performed, and Pineda was arrested and booked into the main Santa Clara County jail.
Joshua Payne, 31 of Campbell, Nov. 5 at 9:22 a.m. at the 1600 block of Oak Glen Avenue in Morgan Hill was found displaying signs of methamphetamines. Payne admitted to snorting methamphetamines. He was arrested and booked at the main Santa Clara County jail.
Christina Gonzales, 21 of Gilroy, Nov, 5 at 2:10 p.m. at the intersection of Wren Avenue and First Street in Gilroy was contacted by an officer. Gonzales performed field sobriety tests and was found to be under the influence of methamphetamines. Gonzales was arrested, and booked into the main Santa Clara County jail.
Vandalism
An unknown suspect, Nov. 11 near the 1300 block of Monterey Road in San Martin broke a window at the San Martin Café. The window is estimated at $600 to replace, the suspect(s) are still at large.
Stolen Vehicle
An unknown suspect, Nov. 5, at the 2400 block of Daurine Court in Gilroy abandoned a vehicle. A resident noticed the vehicle parked for several days. When an officer investigated, he found the stereo had been taken from the vehicle and a beer can was left in the back seat. The beer can was admitted as evidence and the vehicle was returned to its owner. The suspect(s) still at large.
An unknown suspect, Nov. 8 at the 5000 block of Santa Teresa Boulevard stole a 1990 Acura Integra from the Gavlian College parking lot. The victim parked the vehicle at 8 a.m. and returned at 1 p.m. to find it missing. There are no suspect(s).
Juan Servantes was stopped at Bernal Road and US 101 in San Jose after leaving a disabled vehicle. Servantes admitted to being on parole, under the influence and possessing knives. Originally he stated the vehicle was his, later it was discovered the vehicle was stolen. Servantes was arrested and booked in the main Santa Clara County jail.
Recovered Stolen Vehicle
An unknown suspect, Nov. 6 left a vehicle at Canada Road and Highway 152 in Gilroy. It was found the vehicle belonged to the San Jose Police Department; it had been stripped and did not contain any latent prints. A purple beanie was found on the driver seat and was booked into evidence. Suspect(s) are unknown and at large.
An unknown suspect, Nov. 5 at the 1300 block of Monterey Highway in San Martin, left a stolen vehicle. It was discovered, dusted for prints and no physical evidence was present. The suspect(s) are unknown and at large.
Recovered stolen plate
An unknown suspect, Nov. 5 at the 1300 block of Monterey Road in Gilroy stole the rear license plate from a Honda Accord. The plate was reported stolen; it was later recovered and admitted as evidence.
Sales of Narcotics
Maritza Agosto and Ricardo Rivera, Nov. 10 at 2:13 am were stopped for traffic violations at the intersection of Monterey Highway and Monterey Circle in San Jose. At that time Agosto was in possession of methamphetamine and provided a false identity. Agosto was on probation and had two warrants for his arrest. Rivera was found to be riding a stolen motorcycle from Stockton.
Transportation of Marijuana
Adam Milo, 23 of San Jose, Nov. 12 at 5 p.m. was stopped for speeding. It was discovered Milo was operating a vehicle without an ignition lock, as detailed by his license restrictions. In addition, 15 pounds of marijuana were found in the trunk of the car. Milo was transported and booked at the main Santa Clara County jail.
