Here is the South County Sheriff’s arrest log from Sept. 29 to Oct. 2.
Vandalism
-An unknown suspect(s), between noon Sept. 20 and 7:30 p.m. Oct. 2 on the 1000 block of East San Martin Avenue in San Martin, entered a pasture and vandalized a deep water pump. The cost for repairs is estimated at $3,000.
-An unknown suspect(s), between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. Oct. 2 on the 8100 block of Monterey Highway in Morgan Hill, cut the brake lines of a vehicle, causing $80 worth of damage.
Burglary
-An unknown suspect(s), between noon and 5:43 p.m. Oct. 2 on the 14000 block of Hidden Spring Lane in Morgan Hill, forced open the front door of a residence, ransacked the inside and stole 300 collector coins, two rings and other items.
-An unknown suspect(s), 3:59 p.m. Oct. 2 on the 1800 block of West Edmundson Avenue, entered a residence through an open window and stole approximately $2,700 worth of property.
-Ricardo Oliva-Jimenez, 18, between 10:30 a.m. and 12:33 p.m. Oct. 2 on the 11000 block of Bennetta Lane in Gilroy, for residential burglary, possession of stolen property and conspiracy to commit burglary. The suspect entered a locked residence and taco truck, stealing $7,153 worth of property. He was found in possession of stolen property shortly after burglary.
Drugs
-Marin Villasenor, 33, 9:41 a.m. Oct. 2 on Monterey Highway at Leavesely Road in Gilroy, was stopped for jaywalking and found to be in possession of methamphetamine and under the influence of a controlled substance.
-Francisco Perez, 29, 10:58 p.m. Oct. 1 on Oak Street at Lincoln Avenue in San Martin, failed to stop his bicycle at a stop sign, was a parole hold, admitted to smoking methamphetamine and booked for being under the influence of a controlled substance.
-Miguel Angel Montiel-Vicuna, 23, 5:02 p.m. Oct. 1 on the 300 block of East Tenth Street in Gilroy, for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers found .02 grams of methamphetamine and a glass pipe in his possession.
-Maria Isabel Ortiz, 55, 3:23 p.m. Sept. 29 on Luchessa Avenue at Chestnut Avenue in Gilroy, for being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of a methamphetamine pipe.
Petty theft
-An unknown suspect(s), between 3 p.m. and 4:36 p.m. Sept. 28 on 10000 block of Pacheco Pass in Gilroy, stole a purse in an unlocked storage area with $240 along with credit cards and other items. The credit cards were then used at two separate locations.
Stolen vehicle
-An unknown suspect(s), 7:08 a.m. Oct. 1 on the 300 block of Palomino Lane in San Martin, entered a vehicle when it was parked, running and unlocked in a resident’s driveway and drove away. Construction materials totaling $2,225 were in the truck bed.
Possession of stolen property
-Alberto Quintero Rodriguez, 40, 1:59 p.m. Sept. 30, on Watsonville Road at Monterey Road in Morgan Hill, for possession of a stolen registration tab he admitted to taking from another vehicle.
