The Morgan Hill Youth League ended its season Saturday with some
new high scores and league awards.
The Morgan Hill Youth League ended its season Saturday with some new high scores and league awards.
Almost every bowler rolled over their average. Trophies were presented to Nathan Campeau, high game (177), Heather Johnson, high series (480), Tom Wada, high handicap game (195), Michael Liensdorf, high handicap series (496) and Ben Donn, most improved bowler (plus 18 pins).
The first place team trophies went to Nathan Campeau, Will Watson and Ben Rusch. Bumper champions were Damon Padilla, Dominick Padilla, Ben Donn, Andrew Bauer, Ariel Shelley and Christian Duran.
May 19th was a Sweeper, with the high game of the day trophy going to Matt Jackson, for his 177 game.
Ending series scores for Saturday were as follows: Kevin Hartman 338, rolling 59 pins over his average (POA), Nick McFarland 418, Evan Loo 364, Matt Jackson 408, Ben Rusch 277, Koll Wada 209, Tom Wada 226, Michael Liensdorf 189. In the bumper division, the ending series scores were, Ben Donn 158, Andrew Bauer 115, Ariel Shelly 165, Damon Padilla 155, Dominick Padilla 164 and Christian Duran 154.
