Marissa Sendejas powered a Live Oak girls water polo scoring barrage as the Acrons erupted for a 20-7 victory in Santa Teresa Division action Tuesday.
Sendejas scored 10 times, and was joined by Jessica Lawrence (three), Demi Miller (two) Crystal Cardenas (two), Monica Blazzard, Kelsey Griffin and Kristi Martinez in the goal scoring category.
VOLLEYBALL
Leland handed Live Oak its second Mount Hamilton Division setback of the season, topping the Acorns 25-15, 25-21, 25-22 on Tuesday night in Morgan Hill.
Sobrato also suffered a league loss on the road at Westmont on Tuesday night.
The Warriors swept the contest 25-22, 25-19, 25-9.
The two Morgan Hill high schools square off against one another Thursday at 6 p.m. at Live Oak.
FIELD HOCKEY
A sweltering afternoon tilt between Sobrato and Westmont went the way of the Warriors 4-0 on Tuesday.
GOLF
The Live Oak girls golf team improved to 4-1 with a close 277-287 win over Santa Teresa on Tuesday.
Janice Kim won medalist honors, carding a 50.
