After earning only its second victory of the year Monday, the Sobrato boys soccer team fell back to its old ways Thursday, falling 2-0 to Branham on the road in San Jose.

Branham scored two first-half goals to build the early lead that it never relented. With the loss, Sobrato is now 2-10-4 overall and 2-6-3 in league play.

The Bulldogs travel to Evergreen Valley on Monday.

Despite 17 points from Symone Wright, the Sobrato girls basketball team lost its 15th consecutive game Wednesday, falling 41-29 to Mt. Pleasant.

The Bulldogs never led, falling behind 14-6 in the first quarter and allowing 14 points in the third.

The Bulldogs are now 2-19 overall and 0-13 in league play.

The boys basketball team didn’t fare much better against Evergreen Valley on Wednesday, losing 67-33. It was the Bulldogs’ ninth loss in the past 10 games, bringing their overall mark to 10-13 overall and 4-9 in league play.

In the game, the Bulldogs struggled from the floor, breaking 10 points only once in four quarters.

Meanwhile, Evergreen was dominant on the offensive end, opening the game with 43 first-half points.

Karl Mann finished with a team-high 11 points. Bryce Shore added nine points.
