The ROTARY CLUB OF MORGAN HILL has honored CARDEN ACADEMY student GERALYN VASQUEZ, CHARTER SCHOOL OF MORGAN HILL student OLIVIA PRIEDITE and CROSSROADS CHRISTIAN SCHOOL student KATHARINE MARTIN as the final three top local students with its OUTSTANDING STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT awards, completing this year’s recognition programs for most outstanding academic work in 19 schools.

On May 2, Rotary presented the students with U.S. saving bonds and achievement certificates. It also recognized their parents and school officials at luncheon ceremonies.

All public and private Morgan Hill schools selected one outstanding student for the Rotary honor this year. Awards were announced on a rotating basis throughout the year. The club’s recognition program is part of Rotary’s ongoing commitment to serve the youth of the community.
