In response to her many fans in the South Bay area, Mimi Blais, the popular French Canadian pianist from Montreal, will return for the 11th year to perform a piano concert in Morgan Hill on Tuesday, Feb. 22.

Mimi’s classical training, keyboard expertise and visual antics create a captivating and sometimes audacious show that should not be missed. She demonstrates her remarkable technique as she plays the works of Scott Joplin, Eubie Blake, Joseph Lamb, and many other composers. Her performances have been variously described as masterful, energetic, colorful, romantic, zany, poetic, or all of the above.

Dubbed the “Female Victor Borge,” Mimi performs as a comedienne and actress as well as a pianist. The unique blend of a charming and witty personality along with a sensitivity and love for the music she plays, make her concerts unforgettable.

Mimi’s performance takes place Tuesday, Feb. 22, 7:30pm at Advent Lutheran Church, 16870 Murphy Ave. The church is just past Condit off 101 at East Dunne Avenue. Ticket prices are $18 for general admission, $16 for seniors 65 and over, and $6 for students. Tickets may be purchased at the door.
