Kyle Quadros drove in two runs and pitched five innings of three-hit baseball to lead Live Oak past Prospect 7-2 Monday at Sarich Field in a make-up game from Wednesday.

Quadros went 2 for 3 with a double, John Forestieri tripled in a 2-for-4 effort, and Mitch Hickey and Forestieri contributed RBIs for the Acorns, who swept the two-game Santa Teresa Division series and have won five straight in the wake of a seven-game slide.

Quadros had eight strikeouts to one walk and one earned run. The sophomore moved to 2-1.

Jacob Estrada added two innings of solid pitching, allowing two hits and one walk.

Live Oak (7-8, 4-6) will face the Panthers (3-9, 3-7) again on May 4 in Saratoga.

  • In the Mount Hamilton Division, Willow Glen completed a sweep of Sobrato on Monday with a 7-1 victory at Sobrato High School.

The Bulldogs (3-9, 3-7) were held to one hit by Willow Glen’s John Riley and Wes Malik, who struck out five in as many innings.

Matt Toscano had two hits to lead the first-place Rams (11-1, 10-1), winners of 11 straight.
