Nationally known author and performer Robin Riding brought her puppet-making, music and puppet show to Morgan Hill’s BookSmart on Nov. 16.
Riding sang along to her picture book, Mermaids Fast Asleep. Children had the chance to create mermaid puppets and perform a group puppet show with Mona the mermaid marionette and sing along to the music.
Riding lives in Pennsylvania, where she and her husband run Book and Puppet Co. She visited Morgan Hill as part of a tour through California. BookSmart is located at 421 Vineyard Town Center.
