Morgan Hill Police Animal Services officers rescued 10 ducklings from a storm drain earlier this week. The city’s officers responded to the ducks’ cries for help Tuesday morning, March 26. The tiny animals were trapped in a storm drain located at Main Avenue and Butterfield Boulevard, according to a Facebook post on the Morgan Hill Police Department’s page. With the help of the city’s public works staff, police were able to safely rescue all 10 ducks. “The ducklings were able to remain together and are recovering nicely in their new home,” reads the post. Police further quipped, “So far their favorite meal is cheese and quackers.”
