• Police looking for parole violations arrested four people in Morgan Hill Thursday, Nov. 4, on charges including counterfeiting and drug possession. All were arrested at 140-A Wright Ave. at 4:35pm.

• Carlos Magallanez, 32, of 1465 Daffodil Court, Morgan Hill, was arrested on suspicion of violating parole and possession for sale of a controlled substance, both felonies. Magallanez also had warrants for felony charges – including possession for sale of a controlled substance, forgery, and possession of checks with the intent to defraud – and misdemeanor charges – including battery, resisting arrest, receiving stolen property, using someone else’s personal identifying information, and providing false information to a police officer.

• Erica Ann Garza, 28, of 1465 Daffodil Court, Morgan Hill, was arrested on suspicion of three felony charges: Possession of a controlled substance, possession for sale of methamphetamine, being an accessory to a felony. Garza also was arrested for obstructing or delaying police, a misdemeanor.

• Avey Robert Castro, 44, of 140-A Wright Ave. Morgan Hill, was arrested on suspicion of forging a California driver’s license or identification card, possessing counterfeiting tools, forgery of bills or checks, and possession of narcotics, all felonies. Castro also was arrested on suspicion of resisting arrest, a misdemeanor.

•Gracie Sanchez Castro, 45, of 140-A Wright Ave., Morgan Hill, was arrested on suspicion of violating parole, possession of narcotics, forging a driver’s license or identification card, possessing a counterfeiting device, all felonies.

Battery:

• A resident of the 2100 block of Cimarron Drive reported he was coming home when he passed someone in a Toyota Scion parked on Cimarron. When he passed the Toyota, it turned around and followed him home. A passenger then exited from the rear and punched the resident in the face before the resident had his seatbelt unbuckled. The report was taken at 11:24pm on Sept. 26.

• Central High School reported two juveniles wearing white sheets over their heads threw a trashcan into a classroom and tried to start a fight with some students in the classroom. The report was taken on Oct. 7 at 7:50pm.

Identity theft:

• A resident of Bent Oak Lane reported someone used his identity to open a credit card account. The report was taken on Oct. 5 at 2:29pm.

Burglary:

• A resident of the 16700 block of Wild Oak Way reported someone entered the residence through a sliding door that could not be locked and stole a camcorder, portable DVD player and sunglasses. The report was taken on Oct. 5 at 11:47am.

• A resident of the 16700 block of San Luis Way reported someone entered the home through the bedroom window. The report was taken at 8:32pm on Oct. 7.

Auto burglary:

• A resident of Oak Park Drive reported his unlocked Ford Ranger was broken into overnight. A cell phone, papers, small tools and some keys were stolen. The resident told police his keys were in the ignition but the ignition key was not stolen. The report was taken on Oct. 5 at 6:33pm.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported a laptop computer was stolen from his vehicle while it was parked on West Dunne Avenue. The window of the vehicle was left partially down. The report was taken at 4:09pm on Oct. 6.

Driving under the influence of alcohol

• Joshua Martarella, 29, of Alamo, at 1:30am Sept. 15, on northbound U.S. 101 south of Masten Avenue for DUI.

• John Alfred Fino, 47, of Sacramento, at 1:23pm, Sept. 21, on southbound U.S. 101 at Hwy. 25.

•Garlan Dess Pettigrew, 44, of 1235 Kelly Park Circle, Morgan Hill, at 12:01am, Sept. 22, on southbound U.S. 101 north of Cochrane Road.

• Lloyd Scott Vandusen, 36, of 8300 Kern Ave. Apt. B12, at 12:25am, Sept. 23, at Kern Avenue north of First Street.

• Marcella Amaninang, 34, of 2075 Merlot Dr. in Morgan Hill, at 11:59pm, Sept. 23, at Cochrane Road west of U.S. 101.
