Child molestation: Justin Thomas Meacham, 21, a Morgan Hill resident, was taken to county jail charged with felony lewd or lascivious acts involving a child, and sending harmful matter to a minor by electronic mail, Internet or other service. He was arrested Thursday after a report from the family of the 5-year-old girl who was molested. The report was taken Sept. 11 at 2:57 p.m.

Battery: Police responded to a call from the soccer fields on Condit Road reporting a fight in progress. Several adults were fighting with a 16-year-old player. The report was taken on Aug. 30 at 3:41 p.m.

• Live Oak High administrators reported one student hit another. The report was taken at 1:22 p.m. on Sept. 3.

Auto burglary: Executive Inn Suites reported someone broke into the locked Porsche of a guest by cutting through the top of the vehicle. The report was taken on Aug. 31 at 8:03 a.m.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported his locked Nissan pickup was broken into overnight. A CD and sunglasses were stolen from the vehicle. The report was taken at 7:08 a.m. on Sept. 4.

Threats: A Morgan Hill resident reported her husband was threatening her over the phone. She told police he said if he couldn’t have her, no one could. The report was taken on Sept. 1 at 10:23 p.m.

Burglary: A resident of Montoya Circle reported someone was attempting to get into his garage, a male and a female. He told police this was the second attempt in one night. The report was taken on Aug. 31 at 3:49 a.m.

• A job site foreman for a construction company reported the locked office trailer on the site on Adams Court was broken into. It was unclear at the time of the report what had been stolen. The report was taken at 1:37 p.m. on Aug. 31.

• One of the offices in an office complex in the 17700 block of Hale Avenue was broken into over the weekend. The office was locked on Friday afternoon, but on Monday morning the door was standing open and the office had been ransacked. The report was taken on Sept. 1 at 8:29 a.m.

• One of the offices in a business complex in the 15500 block of Monterey Road was broken into. Someone at another office noticed that that window to the restroom was broken and one of the doors was standing open. The report was taken at 11:05 a.m. on Sept. 1.

• Another office in the complex in the 17700 block of Hale Avenue was broken into. A rear window was broken and the doors were standing open. The report was taken on Sept. 4 at 6:49 a.m.

Vandalism: A resident of the 400 block of Calle Cabezal reported the two tires on the resident’s son’s Honda were slashed. The report was taken on Sept. 3 at 3:39 p.m.

Stolen vehicle: A resident of Creekside Circle reported someone stole his Dodge truck. The report was taken on Aug. 29 at 10:03 a.m.

• South County Chevrolet reported a 2000 Corvette was stolen from the lot overnight. The report was taken at 11:43 a.m. on Sept. 1.

Tampering with a vehicle: A resident of Bender Circle reported someone stole a rear license plate from the resident’s vehicle. The report was taken on Aug. 28 at 3:04 p.m.

• A resident of the Morgan Hill Apartments reported someone took the year sticker from her license plate overnight. The report was taken at 1:07 p.m. on Sept. 3.

Grand theft: APM Custom Engines reported that a customer’s tires and wheels were stolen. The report was taken on Aug. 26 at 8:40 a.m.

• A resident of the 16900 block of John Telfer Drive reported someone stole a Japanese pagoda from the front of the home. The report was taken at 4:37 p.m. on Aug. 30.

• A construction company reported a trencher, valued at $60,000 was taken from the job site at Monterey Road and Old Monterey Road. The report was taken on Sept. 3 at 7:38 a.m.

• A PG&E employee reported someone came into the substation yard on West Main Avenue and stole $4,000 in equipment. The report was taken at 12:49 p.m. on Sept. 3.

• A resident of the 19100 block of Saffron Drive reported a weed eater and a leaf blower were stolen from the back of a pickup overnight. The tools were valued at $800. The report was taken on Sept. 3 at 4:08 p.m.

Petty theft: A resident of the 500 block of Bonnie View Court reported that her five solar walkway lights were stolen from her front yard. The report was taken on Aug. 26 at 8:50 p.m.

• An employee at Safeway reported that a customer was robbed in the store. The report was taken on Aug. 27 at 10:02 a.m.

• A resident of the 400 block of Farallon Drive reported someone stole four solar lights from her yard over the weekend. The report was taken at 9:18 a.m. on Aug. 28.

• Safeway grocery store reported a suspect stole meat and other items. The report was taken on Aug. 28 at 10:06 a.m.

• Albertson’s grocery store reported juveniles tried to steal beer, employees chased the juveniles, who then hit a truck driver who was making a delivery in the head with a rock. The report was taken at 9:53 p.m. on Aug. 29.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported two backpacks and a cell phone were stolen from the back of his truck overnight while it was parked at Nob Hill Manor. The report was taken on Aug. 30 at 6:02 p.m.
