Battery: Oscar D. Martinez, 20, of Morgan Hill was cited and released. The report was taken on Jan. 1 at 3:34 a.m.
• A 28-year-old Morgan Hill male was taken to county jail charged with inflicting corporal injury on a spouse. The report was taken at 8:37 p.m. on Jan. 3.
• A 31-year-old San Jose male was taken to county jail charged with battery on former spouse. The report was taken on Jan. 4 at 12:13 a.m.
• A 44-year-old female from Greeneville, TN, was taken to county jail charged with battery by a non-cohabitating former spouse. She also had an outstanding minor warrant. The report was taken at 8:12 p.m. on Jan. 5.
• Shaukat H. Rajtut, 52, of Morgan Hill was cited and released. The report was taken on Jan. 9 at 5:51 p.m.
Auto burglary: A Toyota Camry parked in the Mervyn’s parking lot was broken into. The rear window was broken, but it was unclear at the time of the report if anything was stolen. The report was taken on Jan. 15 at 11:12 p.m.
• A guest of the Residence Inn reported an unlocked BMW was entered and items were stolen from the vehicle, including a handicapped placard and registration and insurance information. The report was taken at 8:28 a.m. on Jan. 20.
• A guest of the Courtyard Marriott reported a vehicle was broken into and a laptop computer was stolen. The report was taken on Jan. 20 at 8:33 a.m.
• A resident of the 2000 block of Vista Del Valle reported someone broke into his locked Toyota pickup overnight. The stereo with CD player was stolen. The report was taken at 9:03 a.m. on Jan. 24.
• A resident of the 17100 block of Aspen Way reported that his KIA Sportage was broken into overnight and his stereo was stolen. The report was taken on Jan. 24 at 10:10 a.m.
• A resident of the 16700 block of Cerro Vista Drive reported someone stole the stereo from her unlocked Chevy truck. The report was taken at 2:45 p.m. on Jan. 24.
• A resident of the 1000 block of Acacia Way reported her cell phone was stolen from her unlocked vehicle. The report was taken on Jan. 26 at 1:05 p.m.
Arrests and citations: Carl R. Brandau, 44, of Los Banos was cited and released charged with possession of marijuana in a vehicle. The report was taken on Jan. 2 at 4:45 p.m.
• Anthony J. Hill, 18, of Morgan Hill and Adam A. Guerrero, Jr., 18, of Gilroy were cited and released charged with petty theft after an incident at the AM/PM Mini Mart. The report was taken at 2:35 a.m. on Jan. 4.
• A 14-year-old Gilroy female, a 15-year-old Morgan Hill female and three 15-year-old Gilroy females were cited and released charged with burglary and resisting or delaying an officer. The report was taken on Jan. 5 at 10:50 a.m.
• Ledia J. Almendalez, 25, of San Jose was taken to county jail charged with burglary. The report was taken at 6:29 p.m. on Jan. 5.
• Stacie R. Dewer, 19, of Morgan Hill was cited and released charged with embezzlement. The report was taken on Jan. 5 at 11:41 p.m.
• A 13-year-old Morgan Hill male was cited and released charged with possession of a knife on school grounds after an incident at Britton Middle School. The report was taken at 9:21 a.m. on Jan. 6.
