Stolen vehicle

•A resident of San Gabriel Court reported someone broke into his garage and stole his Harley Davidson motorcycle. The report was taken on Sept. 6 at 4:53pm.

• A resident of the 16700 block of Barnell Avenue reported a Yamaha ATV was stolen from the residence. The resident reported it was parked in the back of his garage with no keys in it. The report was taken at 9:50am on Sept. 25.

Burglary

• A resident of Llagas Road reported someone broke into the residence overnight. A window screen was popped off, and outside the window there is a stump that was used to climb up to the window. Gold coins, XBox games and CDs were stolen. The report was taken at 7:03pm on Sept. 2.

• A resident of the 15300 block of Calle Enrique reported someone broke a window of the residence, but he is not sure if someone entered the residence. The report was taken on Sept. 3 at 9:47pm.

• Goodwill of Santa Clara County reported the store has a video of suspects “rummaging” and taking items from the store overnight. The report was taken at 10:56pm on Sept. 5.

• A resident of Foothill Court reported her home was broke into on Aug. 1, and jewelry, credit cards and checks were taken. The credit cards were reportedly used in Mountain View or Menlo Park. The report was taken on Sept. 6 at 10:30am.

Grand theft

• A Morgan Hill resident reported a digital camera was stolen from a stroller while she was at the Aquatic Center on Condit Road. The camera was valued at $2,500. The report was taken on Sept. 6 at 9:59pm.

• A resident of the 17200 block of James Lex Lane reported the resident left a bicycle valued at $800 near the front door of the residence and it was stolen. The report was taken at 12:59pm on Sept. 7.

• Burnett Elementary School on Tilton Avenue reported someone entered a classroom and stole a Dell laptop computer. The report was taken on Sept. 8 at 11:42am.

•Advance Cleaners on West Main Avenue reported a male suspect came into the store and took a bank bag containing money and checks, approximately $500-600 in cash and checks, from the counter. The report was taken at 7:02am on Sept. 9.

• A resident of Warren Avenue reported a carpet cleaning company came to her residence the week before, and when they left, she noticed two rings and her ATM card were missing. The rings were valued at $6,500; the suspects have reportedly attempted to use her ATM in Hollister. The report was taken on Sept. 9 at 8:46am.

Petty theft

• Someone reported a male and a female taking items from the Goodwill store on Monterey Road. The report was taken on Sept. 1 at 12:06am.

• A resident of Orchard Court reported her postman told her he dropped off two packages containing a goose down comforter and a memory pad, and the packages were gone when the resident returned home. The report was taken at 10:58am on Sept. 2.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported her wallet was taken out of her purse while she was shopping at Safeway grocery store on East Dunne Avenue. The report was taken on Sept. 2 at 10:06pm.

• A resident of Central Avenue reported he left his bike outside and it was stolen. The report was taken at 6:35pm on Sept. 3.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported while she was shopping at the Rite Aid on Monterey Road she left her purse in the cart and walked away. When she realized she had left her purse in the cart and returned, the purse had been stolen. The purse contained identification, Social Security card, her nurse’s license and credit cards. The report was taken on Sept. 15 at 6:48pm.

n Shell gas station on East Dunne Avenue reported several suspects stole beer from the store. The report was taken at 10:48pm on Sept. 5.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported the resident’s son had $75 taken from his wallet while at Sobrato High School on Burnett Avenue. The report was taken on Sept. 7 at noon.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported a cell phone was stolen from a student’s backpack at Sobrato High School. The report was taken at 1:30pm on Sept. 8.

• A resident of the 16600 block of San Ramon Drive reported someone stole bank statements, paid receipts and bills from her filing cabinet. The report was taken on Sept. 9 at 3:12pm.

• A Live Oak High student reported the student’s cell phone was stolen from the student’s backpack while at school. The report was taken at 4:06pm on Sept. 10.

Auto Burglary

• A Morgan Hill resident reported a camera cell phone and CDs were stolen from an unlocked vehicle the day before while it was parked in the 200 block of West Main Avenue. The report was taken on Aug. 30 at 11:28am.

• Rentera Brothers on Joleen Way reported someone broke into a vehicle on the premises through a window and took a DVD player and radio. The report was taken at 8:07am on Sept. 2.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported the resident’s unlocked vehicle was parked at Safeway grocery store on East Dunne Avenue, and someone took prescription medicine, a camera and clothing from the vehicle. The report was taken on Sept. 2 at 9:49am.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported the resident’s pickup was broken into while parked at Tennant Station behind the movie theater. A window was shattered, and a cell phone, stereo and other items were stolen. The report was taken at 9:50pm on Sept. 2.

• A resident of Hidden Meadows reported the resident’s Chevy Blazer was broken into. A “huge” hole was cut into the driver’s side door, the resident told police, and drills, a CD player, CDs and the license plates were stolen. The report was taken on Sept. 4 at 3:41pm.

• A resident of the 16700 block of Barnell Avenue reported the resident’s ranchero was broken into, and the stereo was stolen. The report was taken at 11:48am on Sept. 5.

•A Morgan Hill resident reported the resident’s vehicle was broken into through the passenger window while it was parked at Live Oak High School, and the stereo was stolen. The report was taken on Sept. 9 at 3:12pm.

Tampering with

a vehicle

• A resident of the 16700 block of Cabernet reported the front license plate from his Honda Civic was stolen overnight. The report was taken on Sept. 5 at 10:03am.

• El Toro Elementary reported a 6-year-old student hit a teacher and kicked the school principal. The report was taken on Sept. 8 at 7:52am.

n A resident of Barnell Avenue reported a male suspect was hitting her, and she told police she has bruises all over her body. The report was taken at 11:15am on Sept. 9.

Vandalism

• A resident of the 200 block of Wright Avenue reported a rock was thrown through the rear window of her vehicle overnight. The report was taken on Sept. 3 at 9:55am.

• A resident of the 500 block of Calle Siena reported the resident’s GMC Yukon was “keyed” on the driver’s side of the vehicle and the rear of the vehicle; the number “4” was etched into the paint. The report was taken at 8:30am on Sept. 8.

• Another resident of the 500 block of Calle Siena reported her three vehicles parked in her driveway were “keyed” last night, a BMW, a Lexus SUV and a Chevy Tahoe. A number “4” was reportedly etched into the vehicles overnight. The report was taken on Sept. 8 at 8:57am.

• Pet Station on Monterey Road reported someone threw a rock through the window of the business, and this is not the first time something like this has happened. The report was taken at 6:33pm on Sept. 8.
