unlocked vehicle was broken into, and a pair of sunglasses, keys
and mag lights were stolen from the vehicle. The resident told
police the vehicle was ransacked. The report was taken on Aug. 25
at 7:22pm.

• A resident of the Monte Vista Apartments reported the resident’s vehicle was broken into. The key-lock was “torn off,” and the resident’s wallet was stolen, along with an amp, a stereo box and other items. The report was taken at 5:12pm on Aug. 27.
• A resident of the Cochrane Village Apartments reported his Toyota Corolla was burglarized on Aug. 25. He told police 100 CDs were stolen, along with spare change and his Social Security card. The report was taken Aug. 29 at 5:48pm.
Battery
• A resident of the Villa Ciolino Apartments reported her boyfriend hit her in the mouth during a verbal dispute. The report was taken on Aug. 25 at 6:51pm.
• Good Will of Santa Clara County reported two individuals broke into the gated area behind the business and took “numerous items.” The report was taken at 10:12am on Aug. 28.
Vandalism
• A Morgan Hill resident reported a license plate was stolen from his Chevy Silverado while he was shopping at Home Depot on East Main Avenue. The report was taken at 8:08pm.
• A resident of 16200 Church Street reported her mailbox was damaged and some boulders covering a water main were moved overnight. The report was taken on Aug. 22 at 8:55pm.
• A resident of the 17400 block of Grand Prix Way reported someone slashed the tires of her Honda Accord overnight. The report was taken at 1:48pm on Aug. 22.
• A resident of the 17200 block of Calle Mazatan reported the front tire of her Toyota Sienna was slashed overnight. The report was taken on Aug. 22 at 6:45pm.
• A resident of the 16900 block of Barnell Avenue reported the passenger side window of the resident’s vehicle was shattered. The report was taken at 7:09am on Aug. 23.
• Morgan Hill Moving and Storage on Mast Street reported over the weekend a window was shattered. The report was taken on Aug. 23 at 8:10am.
• A resident of the Crest Avenue Apartments reported the passenger side window of her vehicle was shattered overnight. The report was taken at 11:13am on Aug. 23.
Robbery
• A Morgan Hill resident reported he was “jumped” earlier in the day at the 7-11 store on West Main Avenue by a male suspect who took $600 from him. He also reported five suspects in a red sportscar. According to the report, he changed his story several times. The report was taken on Aug. 8 at 9:43pm.
